One of the cartoonish games for the psp, you play mostly in a 2 dimensional environment. This reminds me of early super nintendo works, with more of a focus on the gameplay itself, rather then flashy graphics. This is a rhythm game, where you play tribal drums with your patapons. As you play the correct rhythms you can move forward with your missions. They managed to blend traditional battle games with elements of music. It won several awards and is recognized for being an innovation.
Patapon is split up into several different missions, as you recruit troops you will enter into larger battles and be required to play more complex rhythms. I think the box art says it all!
